reset canvas clip region

If my understanding is correct, there is no way to reset a clipping region in canvas, only narrow it. So the way to work with clipping regions is to use save/restore. Is this correct, or am I missing something?

To answer my own question: this appears to be correct, there is no way to reset the clipping region in the current state, you need to use save() to get a fresh clipping region and manage whatever parts of the state you want to keep yourself.
