compare/overlaying images

Postby me1nder » Sat Oct 09, 2010 12:04 pm

hey folks,
i'm quite new to the html5-topics and i'm reading the canvas-specs at the moment. last week i did some nice things like transform, scale, rotate or drawing some rectangles, nice things but quite useless ;-)

but today i saw a nice example, realized in flash:

could anyone imagine how to do that without flash and with modern html5-techniques like canvas?
generally we would need 2 canvas where the images are places, but how to implement the slider, what do you think? maybe anyone had done something like that?

thanks for your support and ideas in advance :-)
