Details as Block Element?

Hi there,

I just looked at the display types of the new HTML5 Tags.

A little question came to my mind: Where is the details element?

I mean, there is the summary element, which is a block-level element.
And the summary element is used inside of the details element.
Which seems to be not a block element.

How do you think about that?
Is details also block?
