I made a Flash-based banner for my website with multiple photo fades: http://www.jhamlin.com
However, this does not work on Ipad, obviously. So I am trying to figure out how to recreate these photo fades without Flash.
I have been reading about css animation and javascript animation but I am overwhelming and just don't know where to start.
Any help?

Check out the Safari blog, keep looking until you find pictures as there is a lot of CSS3 that will help you out in WebKit (the engine for Safari).
