Drag and drop images

Can somebody please, please, please help me????? I want to know if there is anyway to drag an image from a folder into an html template. I have an html template built but I need to know if there is any “script” I can past in to my template that will allow me to insert images without much technical knowledge...

I've had a bit of difficulty with this though a quick search brought me to this site with a working demo whereas in the past I've not actually seen any working demonstrations.
