I think <h1> - <h6> should always be displayed the same independent of whether it is in a <section> or not. I want to use <h> in sections. There a lot of new elements in html5, not supported by older browser, so you can introduce <h>, too. It seems a lot nicer than <h1>.

Removing the numerical value from the header element opens the header element to semantic abuse. The header on the bottom half of the fifth-tenth page has different semantic meaning then the header at the top of page one in a newspaper.
