postmessage remote machine/other user/viewer?

Hi,

I know it is possible to post crossdomain and to different tabs.
Example here: http://html5demos.com/postmessage2
But this it only viewable by 1 user. The person who is posting the message.

Is it also possible to use postmessage to a remote machine e.g. other user?
Or that anyone who goes to the page which has the eventlistener on it will actually see the posted message?

Is this possible?

You'd have to communicate via the server. For instance, you could use XHR to send a request to the server, and use SSE to listen for events from the server.
