pubdate attribute no longer validating on artcle element

have written valid html5 for months (.. thanks to remy & bruce).

today pubdate attribute is no longer validating on article element:

As far as the attribute not validating the W3C validator isn't the only one around...

You should contact the W3C and make them aware of the issue though.

Also I highly recommend using quotes to encase the values of your attributes, regardless of whether the spec was gimped to allow poor coding practices or not.
