HTML5 development

Postby Arslan » Mon Jun 06, 2011 12:48 am

Hello,

I was wondering if you could help me with the following:

At school I'm working on a research project about html5/css3, and I'm trying to approach developers and users of html5/css3 to get more information about this subject.

I would like to receive more information on the following three points:

- How far is the development of html5/css3 at this time?
- When is the expected date of the end of development?
- Are there certain points where the development is stuck at?

Awaiting your response,

M. Arslan

- How far is the development of html5/css3 at this time?

-HTML5 and CSS3 have been in development for quite some time and it will be still longer before they are even the norm in design and development. (Until the business world fades out IE6, both of these don't matter. It's good to take some time to know what new features you can do, but don't expect the web standards to turn overnight.)

I think development doesn't ends.

- Are there certain points where the development is stuck at?

Hmmmmm may be....

According to the article below, "80% of all mobile apps will be wholly or in-part based on the technology by 2015."

Although there have been performance issues with HTML5, we should expect much development to occur within the next couple of years. More and more HTML5 apps are also expected to come to view even within this year.

You can read the article for more information...I found it interesting:
