Posting Code versus Promotional Content

We encourage community participation and members are more than welcomed to post links to test pages (like and preferably JSFiddle).

Promoting links on forums is looked down upon by Google and other search engines and therefore will hurt your site rankings more than you thought it would help. Members are allowed to have a link in their profile but adding (related) promotional links not clearly relevant to the discussion a member is participating in will get a very short two day warning after which if the offending material is not fully removed will result in an instant ban; unrelated promotional material will result in an instant ban.
